How much does it cost to join HPG? A 3-month membership is $99 + tax; however, you have many options. Please visit Hyde Park Gym’s rates page for full details.
I currently belong to another gym. Do I have to buy a membership at Hyde Park Gym in order to train there? No, you do not have to buy a membership. You can invest in a 12-visit punch card ($60 + tax) with no further obligation.
Do you accept credit cards? Not at this time. Accepted methods of payment are cash and check.
What happens if I cancel a session? We require a 24-hour notice of cancellation. Failure to provide a full 24-hour notice will result in the loss of that session.
How long does a session last? Each training session will last for 60 minutes.
How many times a week should I meet with a trainer? That depends on several variables. You will need to speak directly with a trainer in order to have that question answered accurately.
After I start working with a trainer, how long will it take before I see results? Typically, people start to feel better immediately. Length of time before muscle gain or fat loss is dependent on several factors: eating habits, workout consistency, sleep habits, etc.
Should I get into shape before meeting with a trainer? Absolutely not!! Most people have an extremely difficult time getting into shape safely and effectively on their own.
Can I train with a partner? Yes, provided that you and your partner are at approximately the same fitness level. There is also an additional charge of $20/session.
