At GrassIron we offer smart, organized Semi-Private Training, Group Classes, and One-on-One Training.  All types of training are based on the latest research and years of hands-on experience. Our focus is always on the quality of instruction, safety and results.


Semi-Private Training

semi-private training austinOur most popular option, Semi-Private Training, is  also our most effective option. After years of training folks, we’ve learned that working out with one or two partners increases motivation and provides a built-in support group. Plus, a little friendly competition makes folks work harder. All of which means you’ll get to your goal even faster!

Each client still gets personalized attention and an individual program, but because the training session is shared, it’s more cost-effective.

Your trainer will carefully structure each workout to meet your individual goals and fitness level. Each workout is carefully supervised and includes individual feedback and appropriate progressions in intensity.

Our Semi-Private option is ideal for you if:

  • You enjoy the camaraderie and support of training with a group but need an individualized program.
  • Your schedule requires the flexibility of semi-private training.
  • You are training with a specific goal in mind or for an event or competition.

One-on-One Training

Some clients enjoy the camaraderie and support of a group atmosphere but choose to begin with a series of Personal Training sessions.  During this series, your trainer will teach you the skills needed to safely perform the exercises required during group training.

Our 1:1 option is the best choice for you if:

  • You are significantly overweight or have been largely sedentary the past year or more.
  • You have no previous strength training experience.
  • You require detailed technical instruction with closely supervised practice.
  • You have been referred by a doctor, physical therapist, or chiropractor.
  • You prefer the additional privacy of one-on-one training.

CardioStrong

CardioStrong class austinOur CardioStrong Classes utilize the best from wide variety of exercise disciplines and tools including:

TRX Systems, kettlebells, barbells, Dynamax medicine balls, battling ropes, punching bags, aqua bags, Concept 2 Rowers, and more.

Olympic Weightlifting

olympic weightlifting class austinOur certified USAW Coaches offer both individual training and group training for men and women of all ages and experience levels.

Olympic weightlifting class is for both competitive and recreational weightlifters.

Clients without previous weightlifting training experience must meet with a weightlifting coach for a minimum of 3 individual sessions before joining a weightlifting class.
